選輯臺灣著名攝影家鄧南光的 8 毫米短片，多是三十年代家人在家和出外遊歷的留影，洋溢親和的生活氣息。一個又一個孩子出現，每部片都有一點長大，那股生命力自有故事要說，父母的面容也叫人想像他們的經歷及心況。場景涵蓋游泳比賽、動物園、巡遊廟會等，記錄了臺灣的風土民情。短片集裏最後一部是其子鄧世光於六〇年代拍攝。

Selected 8mm short films shot by Taiwanese photographer Deng Nan-guang are mostly heart-warming images of his home and family outings. One child comes after another, and they grow up with each film. Their vivacious spirit has stories of their own while the faces of the parents call for viewers to imagine their experiences and state of mind. The scenes include a swimming contest, the zoo, temple tour, among other sights. It is a record of Taiwan' s local culture.
