鋼琴家伊蓮．葛莉茉自1987年和巴黎管絃樂團合作，以果斷而細膩的觸鍵與充滿色彩的詮釋，展開傳奇演奏生涯。2002年起，她成為德意志留聲機唱片獨家藝術家，除演出廣受讚譽，更榮獲坎城年度古典唱片、金音叉獎等大獎。她同時也是野生動物保護主義者和人權活動家，成立狼群保育中心並出版相關書籍。近年，葛莉茉以德國浪漫派作品為重心，專輯《給克拉拉》於去年出版即獲得BBC音樂雜誌五星樂評。

本次來臺，葛莉茉將延續浪漫風格，藉貝多芬、布拉姆斯的鋼琴作品，及布梭尼改編巴赫〈夏康舞曲〉，與觀眾分享她細膩、獨特的音樂語彙。

Hélène Grimaud's legendary career as a pianist performer commenced with her performance with the Orchestre de Paris in 1987. Known for her firm yet delicate touch and colorful interpretation, Grimaud has been an exclusive Deutsche Grammophon Gesellschaft (DG) artist since 2002. Besides receiving widespread acclaim for her performances, she has won major awards such as the Cannes Classical Recording of the Year and Diapason d' or. Grimaud is also a wildlife conservationist, a human rights activist, the founder of the Wolf Conservation Center, and the publisher of several books on related subjects. Her focus in recent years has been on works by German Romantics—her latest album For Clara received a five-star rating by BBC Music Magazine upon its release last year.

For this recital, Grimaud will continue to present music in the Romantic Period, including the piano works of Beethoven and Brahms as well as the Bach/Busoni Chaconne, inviting the audience to immerse themselves in her subtle and unique musical language.

伊蓮．葛莉茉

伊蓮．葛莉茉於1969年出生於法國艾克斯普羅旺斯，起初在當地音樂學校向庫爾廷學習鋼琴，後轉往馬賽接受皮耶．巴爾比采習琴；她年僅十三歲就進入巴黎高等音樂學院，三年後奪得鋼琴演奏首獎。之後她持續向喬吉．桑多爾及里昂．弗萊雪學習，直至1987年初次在東京舉辦獨奏會，同年受知名指揮家丹尼爾．巴倫波因之邀，與巴黎管絃樂團合奏，從此踏入職業生涯，與全球各大管絃樂團及著名指揮合作。

她在1995年與柏林愛樂樂團初次合作（由克勞迪奧・阿巴多指揮），也於1999年初次與紐約愛樂（由庫特・馬舒指揮）共演。在這兩項里程碑之間，葛莉茉還有另一項不同凡響的創舉，即在美國紐約州北部成立野狼保育中心。自從在美國佛羅里達州北部偶遇野狼後，她就對這項瀕臨滅絕的物種迷戀不已，故決心開設環境教育中心。葛莉茉表示「能夠直接參與保育工作，幫助動物回歸大自然，我的收穫絕不只有成就感而已」；此外，她也加入全球組織「人權音樂家」，和音樂界人士一同推動人權與社會改革。

而葛莉茉最觸動人心的表現，始終是細膩又溫柔的樂聲，所幸她的獨奏會巡演足跡遍及世界各地，讓無數樂迷得以享受美妙演出；她也熱衷於室內樂，曾登上無數音樂節和文化活動，與眾多音樂家合作，如修兒．嘉碧妲、羅蘭．費亞松、楊．沃格勒、楚爾斯．莫克、克萊門斯．哈根、基頓．克萊曼、吉爾．夏漢、卡普松兄弟等。由於葛莉茉對古典樂貢獻良多，讓她榮獲法國政府頒發最高等級的榮譽軍團勳章。

在最新計畫中，她聚焦於自身與德國浪漫主義的長久關係，包括舒曼和布拉姆斯師徒，以及鋼琴家暨作曲家克拉拉．舒曼，在新專輯裡，葛莉茉除了回顧舒曼的〈克萊斯勒魂〉，亦包括布拉姆斯的鋼琴作品，並與康斯坦丁．克里梅爾合作演出。《給克拉拉》已於2023年9月發行。

Hélène Grimaud

Hélène Grimaud was born in 1969 in Aix-en-Provence and began her piano studies at the local conservatory with Jacqueline Courtin before going on to work with Pierre Barbizet in Marseille. She was accepted into the Paris Conservatoire at just 13 and won first prize in piano performance a mere three years later. She continued to study with György Sándor and Leon Fleisher until, in 1987, she gave her well-received debut recital in Tokyo. That same year, renowned conductor Daniel Barenboim invited her to perform with the Orchestre de Paris: this marked the launch of Grimaud's musical career, characterised ever since by concerts with most of the world's major orchestras and many celebrated conductors.

Between her debut in 1995 with the Berliner Philharmoniker under Claudio Abbado and her first performance with the New York Philharmonic under Kurt Masur in 1999 – just two of many notable musical milestones – Grimaud made a wholly different kind of debut: in upper New York State she established the Wolf Conservation Center. Her love for the endangered species was sparked by a chance encounter with a wolf in northern Florida; this led to her determination to open an environmental education centre. "To be involved in direct conservation and being able to put animals back where they belong," she says, "there's just nothing more fulfilling." But Grimaud's engagement doesn't end there: she is also a member of the organisation Musicians for Human Rights, a worldwide network of musicians and people working in the field of music to promote a culture of human rights and social change.

The pianist's latest project focuses on her long relationship with the German Romantics, and on the ties that bound both Robert Schumann and his protégé Brahms to pianist-composer Clara Schumann. Grimaud has revisited Robert Schumann's Kreisleriana, and pairs it on her new album with Brahms's Op. 117 Intermezzi and his Op. 32 set of songs, in which she is again joined by Konstantin Krimmel. For Clara was released in September 2023.
