After retiring, Chief Constable Shi Yulong planned to enjoy a quiet life, but he is unexpectedly called back into action to capture the escaped criminal Zhao Mutian. Severely wounded in battle, Shi urges his daughter and three disciples to seek revenge and enlist the help of Sword King Tsai Ying-chieh. Despite Tsai's exceptional skills, he is unable to overcome Zhao's divine sword, leading them to seek the "Sun Sword" from the mountain to confront their formidable foe.
