江湖盛傳，桂王府上的龍鳳雙劍內藏絕世寶藏之秘。野心勃勃的鐵面隊密謀搶奪，竟強將鐵面罩戴在大公主臉上，意圖逼迫桂王讓出寶劍。功夫了得的諸葛四郎和真平路見不義，決定出手相助。然而鐵面隊人多勢眾、詭計多端，為首的哭、笑鐵面更非泛泛之輩。諸葛四郎與真平是否終能成功瓦解惡徒們的詭計？本片為漫畫家葉宏甲1958年開始連載《諸葛四郎》後，首部真人演出的改編電影，亦為現存唯一的諸葛四郎台語片。電影在當時台語片的背景之下，混入濃厚的戲曲與舞蹈元素，反派人物的假面面具更為本片增添奇幻特色。
King Gui' s two daughters become the victims of the Demon Society as the villains try to seize King Gui' s treasured Dragon and Phoenix Swords. When King Gui is at his wits' end, Jhuge Shiro and Zheng Ping, two young swordsmen, turn up and rescue the princesses. Their heroic deed wins the princesses' hearts, but nevertheless, the young men bid farewell to the princesses in the end, departing like the heroes in the Westerns.
